July, 2020. Covid-19 update for Phuket island, Thailand:
Since last Corona virus update for Phuket nothing has truly changed, as far as Tourists being ready to re-enter Thailand.
The three-phase insurance policy for reopening as much as Tourists usually remain the same. Saying this many seem to think that September, not August, or maybe beyond, could possibly be the month for Tourists to think about planning to book flights etc, but even it’s not 100%. So, if you’re an tourist waiting to journey to Phuket Island you’ll just have to wait and see.
While your waiting keep in mind the potential requirements for entry when Thailand does re-open its doors to Tourists. Will you might need a ‘fit-to-fly health certificate ‘, a negative COVID-19 test certificate, insurance that covers COVID-19 medical examination and treatment, undergo 14 era of quarantine, or even to download the Thailand Covid-19 tracing app and use it, which isn’t in English. We are not aware of yet. It will depend what goes on inside the coming weeks and months. Stay turned!
Latest Report: The ‘Phuket Disease Committee’informed that as of 12 July 2020, Phuket Province has not found any new infections for 50 consecutive days. From 5 January – 12 July 2020, Phuket Province has infected Confirmed 227 cases of covid-19 disease, 223 home treatment solution were lost, 3 deaths.
Phuket property shops offering Phuket properties for sale and holiday rentals have been hit hard by Covid-19. This goes for all tourist related businesses in any tourist area of Phuket and Thailand so please support local businesses when it’s all open 🙂
Reported July 1, 2020. Announcing the relaxation measures for phase 5, all schools below the semester return on track service under specified conditions. Shops, places, community malls open up to 10 pm, convenience stores is usually opened 24 hours, while pubs, bars and karaoke cafes are open no after 24.00. Covid-19 conditions apply.
